grams transported by Austrian or Italians boats according to the 1864 convention between Greece & Italy and the circulaire of the Director of the Greek Post-offices of Jan. 5, 1865. Black postmark "PD" for "Paid to Destination". The 5 lepta is from
one of the "cleaned plates" printings and the strip of three of the 20 lepta from the special printings of 1870. Very unsual destination.(Image 1)

1870 Part envelope from Ancona (Dec. 2/14, 1870) to Argostoli (Ded. 7/22, 1870) via Brindisi (Dec. 3/15, 1870) and Kerkyra insufficiently franked with a blue pair of Victor Emmanuel of 20 centisimi but taxed at the arrival with a 20 lepta
of special printings (1870). Black postmark "FRANCOBOLLO INSUFFICIENTE" for "Insufficiently Paid". The tax was by convention 22 lepta, as written on blue pencil on the letter but only one stamp of 20 lepta has been apposed which was quite
