6382 image1868 (March): 20 c. magenta, two fine adhesives with good perforation, each cancelled with 'grillia a rombi' obliterator of Sardian type, "ROMA 15 OTT 70 5 S" despatch cds (Sassone = 6 punti) alongside, on cover to Firenze. Reverse with arrival cds of the next day. Usage of Papal stamps after the liberation of Rome on September 21st, 1870, the obliterator of Italian origin is known to be used after September 28, the Roma datestamp is known after October 10.
