POSTE EGIZIANE CAIRO/...74/T III" cds and bearing sender oval in blue, small boxed "PD" in black, London PAID '19 JA 74' transit cds in red, US credit marking "2/CENTS" in red and two strikes of Chicago 'Paid All 8 FE 74' cds in red. Stamps with few shortened perfs at top but fresh and fine so far. Although it is a cover front only, this four-colour franking (correct for 1pi. from Cairo to Alexandria and 3pi. and 35pa. for British Postage by sea, up to US landing port (PD)) is quite scarce and most attractive.
