- The cover was in transit via Tientsin p.o. when the city was attacked July 29 by IJA 5th division and abandoned after severe fighting July 30. A highly interesting, *speaking* postal document. Exhibition item.

Although this cover had clearly not travelled through the War Zone, it is apparent that mail between China and Burma was then being censored - probably because of the existence of the Burma Road and the sensitive nature of the military supplies then being carried by this route into China.
