Mint selection on leaves including 1915-16 Kangaroos First Wmk 9d (type c), 1/- (type c), 10/- (type b) & £1 (type b; a couple of tiny tonespots) and 1918-22 Third Wmk 2/- & 5/- plus KGV group noted 5d 'One Penny' Surcharge, apparently most are lightly mounted, a few with minor aging marks, Cat £1400+.

1915-16 Overprints on KGV ½d bright green with the Watermark Inverted SG 65aw abc strip, the a & b units with small thins, light overall aging as usual for this vartiety, the c unit with full unmounted original gum, Cat £9000+, for a mounted strip of 3. A New Guinea rarity. RPSofL Certificate (2020). Illustration above Lot 2388.
PUNCTURED 'OS': Kangaroos Third Wmk 6d greyish blue & 2/- brown SG O9 & O12 plus New Guinea Huts Overprinted 'OS' 2d claret pair all tied to parcel piece by 'RABAUL/22MY25/NEW GUINEA' cds, Cat £600+ for used. A wonderful combination franking in the first few weeks after the New Guinea 'OS' Overprints were issued (April 1925).
