While non-philatelic, this book by a noted Melbourne historian who actually went to Mauritius, France & England to research the book, is a marvellous re-telling of the well-known, and not-so-well-known, tales about the 'POST OFFICE' stamps of Mauritius. In the process, the philatelic matter is woven into a fascinating and at times fantastic story. An exceptional effort by someone who is not a philatelist. Retail $50.
