1853-1920 variable condition range in small album with solid duplicated content, much of which is in compacted bundles with mixed U/MNG/* crammed into the album storage lines. Much of the 'mint' in the accumulation is MNG. However, we did note 1858 12k red imperf with silk thread SG #18 used (£225) and used 1911 90th Birthday 1m & 5m x2 (£180). The thinned mint 1849 1k grey-black imperf SG 2 (cat £4,500) is as is and the 18k bright red imperf SG #33 (£250) is misidentified being without silk thread and thus a forgery. Baden to Württemberg: in disorganised very mixed condition with many better items being defective to a greater or lesser extent including most 'mint' being MNG, these now mostly identified. Notwithstanding, there are regular useful pickings among the lower cat values and occasional reasonable condition better items including Brunswick 1863 ½sgr SG #15 used (£650), Hamburg 1864 1¼s used (£140), 1864-65 2½s SG #27 MLH (£200), Prussia 1850 6pf orange SG 3 MLH (£170) and odd others. In addition, a quantity of Heligoland with most scarce items as reprints. The 1857 6sch SG #4 used is genuine but defective as is the 1875 3pf SG #12 used. At the back, scattered Danish West Indies, Sardinia and Italian States, latter with odd useful among the fakes. Challenging viewing required. (100s) (Image1)
