NEW CALEDONIA: Stockbook collection lightly duplicated from the late-1940s onwards with strength in 1970s to mid-2000s, lots of thematic interest, a few M/Ss and a little used, the majority mint apparently all unmounted, condition generally fine to very fine, stated Cat £4000.

NEW CALEDONIA: 1917 (March 29) usage of Australian multi-coloured patriotic 'Allied Flags & Southern Cross' envelope, to Paris with an unusual 'Chained Anchor' metal seal on reverse and Kagu Bird 15c lilac solo tied by 'BOURAIL/NLE CALEDONIE' cds with another largely very fine strike alongside, 'NOUMEA' transit backstamp, a couple of minor blemishes. Very attractive.
