1901 Multiple Rosettes Watermark (Vertical) 2/6d black & brown Thin Paper SG 16a, quite well-centred, hinged with a couple of minor blemishes on gum side, Cat £600. A very attractive stamp.

1910-11 Large 'PAPUA' 2½d black & blue-violet with variety Thin 'd' At Left SG 78a, lightly tropicalised gum with a couple of minor blemishes & small hinge remainder, Cat £160.
1910-11 Large 'PAPUA' 2/6d black & brown Type B SG 82 and Type C SG 83 both with the unlisted constant vignette variety White Flaw In Lower Right-Hand Sail, plus the same variety on 6d SG 80 and 1/- SG 81, all lightly hinged but with more or less tropicalised gum, plus the same variety on 2d SG 77 used and on 2½d SG 78 unused, Cat £185+ for normals. 1930 Aeroplane Overprints Harrison Printings 1/- sepia & olive with the 'AIR MAIL' Overprint in Deep Carmine SG 117var, excellent centring, light cds. [This is from a trial printing of only 10 sheets (400 stamps), that were issued. This shade should be listed by Gibbons as SG 117a & the inverted overprint as 117b]
1930 Aeroplane Overprints Harrison Printings 1/- sepia & olive as SG 117 but with the Overprint in Deep Carmine and additionally with the variety Comma between 'I' & 'R' of 'AIR' Overprint, unmounted but with tropicalised gum. Unlisted by Gibbons. Chris Ceremuga Certificate (2001) states "Only the small first part of the printing received overprints in the dark carmine color, instead of the normal carmine color".
1930 Aeroplane Overprints 6d dull purple & red-purple marginal block of 9 (3x3) with John Ash Imprint and top-left unit with variety 'POSTACE' At Left SG 119a, the top-left & top-right units with small hinge remainders, the others unmounted, Cat £152+ for mounted.
1932 CofA Watermark 9d lilac & violet SG 127 marginal block of 12 (4x3) from the top-right corner of the sheet, well-centred & very fresh, a couple of slightly uneven perfs at base, unmounted with just a tiny gum mark on one unit, Cat £156+ for mounted.
1932 Lakatois 9d & 1/3d SG 127-8 overprinted 'SPECIMEN', well centred, a couple of short perfs as usual, the 1/3d is very lightly mounted, Cat £750. Separate RPSofV Certificates (2010). [Superior to & better centred than Peter Troy's duo that sold at the Prestige auction of 28.7.2009 for $990. He also had an unexpertised set with no gum that sold for $844]

POSTAL CARDS: 1901 Lakatoi 1d orange & 2d blue each posted to Rev FW Walker on First Day of Issue with 'BNG' killer and 'PORT MORESBY/-1JY01/BRITISH NEW GUINEA' cds at L/L, no messages on back, light overall spotting hardly detracts.
