261 og/nh 107a image107a: 2¢ yellow green on THIN PAPER in top margin T-7-OTTAWA-No-A'167' (PO) '910-AH' imprint strip of four, one pulled perforation at bottom, full original gum, hinged on selvedge only with stamps never hinged and fine to very fine centering. This imprint strip is EXCEEDINGLY RARE as Plate 167 pre-dates the accepted date of printing on the THIN PAPER by almost three years (plate was approved in October, 1921). According to Marler (pages 331-32), the thin paper should only exist on Plates 181-86, which were not produced until 1924. This rare showpiece is accompanied by another top margin imprint strip on thin paper (Plate 185, produced during the established period of use) for comparison, a true ADMIRAL RARITY. Ex - Brigham.
