LotNo. Symbol Lot Description
*0 MINT & USED INTERNATIONAL lot housed in six large cartons. The lot is built around a set of 14 volumes of pristine condition Scott International albums covering the globe and providing very nice housing for a massive worldwide collection. The albums themselves are somewhat spotty and include only several thousand different stamps, but the lot itself represents an exhaustive accumulation of tens of thousands of different issues, housed in as many as 25 various albums and stock books as well as in countless glassines and boxes. The lot is clearly a work in progress as it includes both - the stamps and very scarcely filled nice set of Scott albums that collectors invested in, but never got around to filling. If anyone was inclined to broaden the focus of their collection and become a worldwide collector this a great opportunity on a budget, F-VF, mint og CLOSED

*0 MINT & USED US AND INTERNATIONAL lot housed in three large cartons and containing no fewer than 15 albums dedicated mostly to 20th century U.S., Israel and several other countries. The lot is anchored by an very comprehensive US collection with separate albums dedicated to commemorative issues starting with The Columbian exposition and going well into the second half of the 20th century through several volumes, American subsection is also enhanced by an extensive mint collection of plate number blocks going up to the period of stamps with postal value of 22c. The back-of-the-book section is well covered too with the six mint early Airmails and Baby Zeppelin issues among others. While the lot is focused on US it includes a very broad range of topics as thousands of mint and used issues are not organized in the albums, as well as several hundred US first day covers, alongside a very attractive British prestige booklet selection (catalogue value for the booklets alone $600+ and postal face value £82). Overall the lot represents an attractive accumulation from a collector with very diverse range of interests, gen. VERY FINE, mint og, many NH CLOSED

*0 IN THE YEAR 2000, GRANDPA DECIDED TO SELL HIS LIFELONG COLLECTION . He couldn't have made a worse decision on how to go about it. He took his six volume International collection and carefully cataloged the stamps by the 2000 Scott catalog. The total was $48,435 (inventory included)and then he removed all the stamps from the albums and put them alphabetically in envelopes. So what you have is a world wide collection that has many better stamps and countries and which doesn't take up much room, but which also doesn't look very good as it is. Putting these stamps on pages and re-cataloging by the current catalog should prove very profitable CLOSED

*0 MINT & USED INTERNATIONAL Massive international lot housed in five large cartons mostly covering the 20th century. The lot includes thousands of mint stamps housed in envelopes sorted by country as well as nearly 20 albums (9 Scott Specialty and 9 White Ace) covering a variety of subjects from United States to Vatican City. Notable among them would be a volume dedicated to Canada including better like mint #203, 217-27, 241-45, 249-62, and more. The portion of collection that is not housed in albums is mostly centered on British America and is nicely complimented with the inclusion of hundreds of mint souvenir sheets from the Americas. This is a very diverse international accumulation that often is accumulated by serious worldwide collectors, with very low levels of duplication so it should appeal to collectors with broad range of interest, gen. 2334 *0 MINT & USED INTERNATIONAL An appealing international lot built around a Scott International Junior album housing well in excess of 3,000 different mint and used stamps from all over the globe with a focus on the late 19th century and going up to the 1920s. The collection includes a myriad of different subsections with British or French colonial possessions well represented within the lot. While the album serves as the focal point of the lot the extras included are every bit as attractive since among the several thousand stamps not placed in the album one could find great number of better issues. Some of the most notable include four never hinged #C18 Baby Zeppelin airmail issues, together with US #C1-C3, C4-C6, along with couple hundred mint US plate number blocks, strips etc in Scott numbered pouches and then several thousand mostly mint international stamps not organized. The duplication levels throughout the lot seem to be very low.
