All stamps have pencil notations on back attesting to their positions, such as UL31, etc. A lovely and fresh set which would look great mounted in an exhibit or album. image 1953 $1 Totem Pole Issue Collection, starts with two used blocks of four (with nice c.d.s. cancels), plus a matched set of mint never hinged plate blocks for both plate 1 and 2. Followed by a first day cover "Issued by U.E.L. Calgary" and a March 28, 1953 special delivery airmail registered cover franked with an E11 and a $1 Totem Pole signed by its designer Emanuel Hahn (with his return address on back). Also a matched set of plate 1 and 2 plate blocks of the overprinted "G" Official (one block has very slight gum disturbance and another block has a tiny corner crease on one stamp). (Image)
