The books are "View from the Ninth Decade" written and signed by Penney, "Main Street Merchant", a biography of J.C. Hank Aaron Home Run #715 Collection, including a display case with a Hank Aaron autographed National League Baseball signed on the sweet spot (with a certificate of authenticity), two Atlanta Braves ticket stubs from the April 8, 1974 game when Aaron hit #715, a 1974 Atlanta Braves yearbook, a brochure listing every home run Aaron hit by date from 1954 through 1973 including opposing team and pitcher, an autographed first day cover #1381 Professional Baseball Centennial. Signatures are sharp, yearbook and brochure show some wear, overall the lot is f-vf.

U.S. MILITARY AUTOGRAPHED COVERS, an interesting group of over 165 covers from various groups including Viet Nam War officers, submarine commanders, Sea-Bees, NATO and the U.S. Coast Guard, all are signed by the commanding officer of the vessel or unit named on the cover. Of special interest are two Blue Angel team commander covers, both pilots later involved in seperate mid-air crashes, one survived and one did not. Most covers are postmarked between the early 1960's and the mid-1970's and many have ship cancels. Generally fine.

May 26 large double circle date stamp, straight line "Free" handstamp, flap torn, Very Fine and choice.rnFillmore served in the House of Representatives from 1833-1835 and 1837-1843 and was Vice President under Zachary Taylor from 1849-50, ascending to the Presidency on July 9, 1850, following the death of President Taylor. He failed to get the Whig presidential nomination in 1852 and retired to his Buffalo home where he became active in civic activities including helping to establish the University of Buffalo. (Image)
