GERMANY - 1872 "BRUSTSCHILD" ISSUE SPECIALIZED COLLECTION. splendid array of stamps and 39 covers neatly arranged and annotated (in German) on specially prepared pages, note color proof of the 2gr Large Shield (small faults) plus includes full range of used singles including color varieties, assorted double embossing errors and reference forgeries but the real value of the collection is in the covers showing various uses - foreign and domestic; single and mixed frankings including mixed issue, ½gr and 1gr (3), 2gr Large Shield double embossing on cover, shifted embossing, railroad cancels, post 1875 uses, etc., usual mixed condition but much better than usually found, generally F-VF, accompanied by 14 certificates/ "befund"
