Normally, your audio will start automatically. If you see the play button located in the lower left corner of the black area above, then you will need to press it.
Troubleshooting steps if you do not hear any sound:
- Make sure that the auction is actually running and not on a break or over for the day. You can do this by looking at the session information displayed on the auction's table of contents page or you can go into the live bidding interface and see if there is a message in the comments block or see the lots being auctioned. There are also some auction houses that use the live bidding without sound like Aldrich and Raritan.
- Apple made a change back in the fall, and then many browsers started forcing HTTP to use HTTPS -- our audio was configured to use HTTP so the browswers were causing the audio to not work.
The current audio feeds ALL use HTTPS. They should all work, but if you are using a bookmark to the audio that uses the old HTTP, then that old bookmark will not work. You can check to see if the URL is correct,
by right clicking on the URL and choosing "Always Show Full URL", the URL should look something like this "https://stampauctionnetwork.com/audio/ChannelTS.cfm" -- noting the https://
