That should bring up a box with the following tabs "Playback", "Recording", "Sounds", and "Communications". Click on the "Recording" tab. Look for "Stereo Mix" in the box. If you have it, Right Click on it, and enable it. If you don't have it, right click in the empty box and check "show disabled devices", then when it shows up, right click on it and enable it. Troubleshooting:
If you are having issues listening to or hearing the audio stream, make sure that your computer’s sound
device is working properly. A simple way to do this is to navigate to a popular site such as
youtube.com,
or
cnn.com and
see if you can get audio functionality from there.
If you know your sound device and speakers are working, then make sure you have the latest version of Adobe Flash Player by going to Adobe.com and getting the latest version of Adobe Flash Player.
If you are using Vista or Windows 7, you may need to enable your microphone. Even though the microphone is not used, if it is disabled, you will not be able to get sound. Pull up your Control Panel, and pick Sound. on the Recording tab, (in the empty box area) right click and make sure you have "Show Disabled Devices" checked. Then make sure that you have at least one of the items in Recording enabled and selected as default. If you do not have a microphone, select Stereo mix, enable it, and set it as default.
If you do not see Stereo Mix on the Recording Tab and you have already set Show Disabled devices, then you will need to install Stereo Mix from Realtek.com. This is a link to the High Definition Audio Codecs at Realteck. Download Stereo Mix Here You will need to choose either 32 or 64 bit operating system, download and install it. After rebooting the computer, go back into the Recording tab and you should see Stereo Mix. Enable it and you should have sound.
If your flash player is updated and you still are not hearing anything, try a different Internet Browser than the one you are using. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Netscape, Safari, and Opera are all browsers known to be compatible with our audio stream. If all of these are still unsuccessful, please contact Droege Computing at 919-403-9459 with a description of the problem.
