In addition to US stamps from the Southwest Collection there are a number of attractive mint US plate blocks incl. a beautiful block of #475 which catalogs at $3,000.00, and a few very scarce or rare US back-of-the-book items such as a Scott listed essay for the 1861-67 issue showing a map of the United States (#79-E7, cv $8,500) and the 1941 Series Silver Tax set complete in imperforate pairs, In this sale there is also a number of high quality lots from the Perfectum collection. All lots from the Perfectum collection are marked ex. Perfectum. Olympic Games topical items are offered under it's own heading which this time offer a couple of France 1992 Olympics modern rarities. Previously unrecorded color essay plate proof in different color from the issued stamps. Much in better issues and sets from European countries.
