Box & Country Lot Sale #F449 - No Buyer's Premium - Free Shipping - June 15, 2018

NO BUYER'S PREMIUM! We are pleased to continue to offer lots from the "SOUTHWEST COLLECTION" of United States. The New Zealand stamps portion will be offered in upcoming Box & Country Lot Auctions throughout the summer. This is yet another lifetime collection which was continued until about the year 2002, when the collector pursued other interests. The US collection has particular strength in Washington-Franklin era with many of the scarce and rare coil line pairs either mint or mint never hinged.

This sale offers some of the better US items from this collection. These lots will have "ex. Southwest" in the description.

Sale #F449 features over 900 lots of United States and Worldwide singles and collection lots. In addition to US stamps from the Southwest Collection there are a number of attractive mint never hinged US plate blocks, Hawaii incl. numerals with a beautiful example of no. 18 unused with the broken toe of "2" variety, and a few very scarce US back-of-the-book items, In this sale there is also a number of high quality lots from the Perfectum collection. All lots from the Perfectum collection are marked ex. Perfectum. Olympic Games topical items are offered under it's own heading which this time offer a couple of France 1992 Olympics modern rarities. Previously unrecorded color essay plate proof in different color from the issued stamps. The Greek Olympic issues are offered under the "Greece" country heading.

Reference accumulations of forgeries are included under it's new heading after worldwide collection lots. This time lots with hundreds and hundreds of stamps from e.g. Germany and areas, German States, British Commonwealth, Great Britain incl. £5 orange, South America, Switzerland, Scandinavia and so on.

Cigar boxes and similar are now listed under "Stamps in Cigar Boxes & Similar" and not under their respective country.
