image 1948/1982, large collection and stock of Israel, consisting of several thousand stamps, many in mounts, displayed on album pages and manilla stock sheets, housed in three binders, as well as in hundreds of glassines filling one shoe box, starting with a nice collection from 1948 to 1982, that appears mint never hinged, all with tabs, and complete in period with the exception of the three high denominations of the First Coin issue, and stamps from the 1949 High Holidays and 1950 Independence Day issues, housed in one binder. We noted some souvenir sheets and booklets, we counted $1,497 in catalogue value up to 1959. The second binder consists of a collection similar to the first one, from 1948 to 1980, again with mint never hinged stamps, including some gutter pairs, souvenir sheets and sheetlets, but stamps are mainly without tabs. Stock made of a few thousand mint never hinged stamps many with tabs are sorted chronologically in glassines in one shoe box, as well as stock of used stamps in stock sheets also sorted chronologically, are housed in the third binder. We noted also about one hundred mint never hinged plate blocks mostly from the 1950s. Also included are 14 packs of Israel Minkus supplements from the 1980s. Nice clean lot and overall very fine.
