image 1869, Prince Carol, Unissued 15b vermilion on laid paper (Scott 40 var.), bright and fresh with large balanced margins and a light lozenge cancel, Very Fine. The 15b was not issued on laid paper and is believed to have been produced as a proof, but, apparently, some were actually used., signed with a small "G!" handstamp.
