image 1870, Crowned Numeral, 48sk brown & lilac, perf. 12½ (Scott 24), used with 3s & 4s perf 14x13½ (17, 18), tied together on a folded cover to St. Croix, D.W.I. by Copenhagen c.d.s.s with a red London PAID transit c.d.s. and a red crayon rating; dates of postmarks not legible but docketed 24 June 1875 (not backstamped); somewhat fragile with some sealed internal tears and ink erosion, but still quite an attractive and very scarce 3-color franking.
