Worldwide, Superior Worldwide Estate in 89 Albums Strong in France, Part I, 1849-2012, Certainly, one of the finest collections of Worldwide issues we have had the pleasure to offer loaded with many singles and sets into the hundreds of dollars each and even some well over a thousand each. All housed in a total of 89 binders and albums contained in 9 banker boxes. Normally we would break this down by countries and sets but the consignor asked that it be sold as one intact collection with all of the high valued items left in the collections. The collector preferred mint and the 20th century material is mainly mint with some used and a bit more used in the 19th century. You will note the "chosen" Countries are often worth from many hundreds of dollars each to well into the thousands such as the extensive collection of France in two thick volumes. While we have scanned a large number of pages this is but a fraction of the massive amount of stamps present in this advanced holding so in-person viewing will be a pleasure. Speaking of the special collection of France we note that it spans from 1849-1993 and has a well above the norm section of 19th century issues and it contains singles, pairs and blocks with many having four margins and very nice quality. The owner's Scott value of the first four pages totaled $22,948. not counting Scott 8 the "Vermillion" issue which, if certified, catalogues $13,750.
