1841, 2d blue, “white lines” Plate 3 “PA”, full o.g. but glazed, large margins on three sides showing part of adjacent stamp at top, just touching at bottom. Clearly shows the SG listed variety ‘shifted transfer, elongation of stamp” and may also be the pale blue shade with evidence of plate wear. A fascinating stamp., (SG 14 £5,750 )
1849 2d Blue, Plate 4 INVERTED WATERMARK TJ, lightly hinged good margins three sides, faults, but appearance is quite pleasant, a fine copy for such a great rarity S.G. Spec. ES14a Brandon Cert. (2022) for pair (quite harsh of which this is the right copy) (SG 14 wi £18,000 )
1841-51 "White Lines" 2d blue 90 used copies, Plate 3 and 4 (not checked), mostly cut in, but some 4 margined or close to, mostly numeral cancels, 4 pairs faults to be expected, not bad though. (SG 13.24 )
