2946   imageAPPEALING HALF CENT SMALL QUEEN RATE - 1892 (September 30) Small unsealed envelope bearing ½c black (Scott 34) tied by neat Montreal duplex datestamp. An unusual usage of the half cent rate to unaddressed circular with letterbox distribution, couple paper clip marks. Perhaps a greeting card left at the post office to be picked up by "Master Peter".
