1987   Small Queen Covers - group of 16 covers including 10 domestic (3¢ rates) with various franking combinations of 1¢, 2¢ and 3¢ small queens, two early 6¢ covers to the US, an 1885 3¢ +5¢ RLS registered cover to the US (CDS Dipper Harbor, NB JU 26 85), and 1887 5¢ cover to England and a (somewhat tatty) 1¢ domestic with a "House of Assembly" (Ontario) cancel in purple as well as a black carrier marking. Condition varies but overall generally F-VF.

1992   Four Stampless Covers - 1832 Double Rate Stampless cover from Halifax to Quebec. This intercolonial cover distinctly shows the Halifax "Fleuron" cancel. Script Rated 3sh/4p. next is a 1855 NB Way Office folded pre-printed blue lettersheet, central file fold, with fancy "3" rate handstamp in black, showing light W.O. Buctouche double arc dispatch with filled in date sent to Fredericton, via Shediac and St John (JY 18) clear double arc (JY 18 1855) backstamps, scarce Way Office marking. (1846) NB St Andrews to Fredericton Rated "7" in manuscript on folded cover (file fold) with backstamps "ST ANDREWS MA 22 184?" double split ring in green, "ST JOHN NEW-BRUNSWICK MY 23 1846"split ring in black and circular "FREDERICTON MY 26 1846" in red. Last is 1867 NB folded letter sheet, very Late usage of "7 cents" rate handstamp in black (July 20), mailed from P.O. Moncton, with double arc dispatch on back and addressee both crossed-out in pen. Overall VF

1994   imageLarge and Small Queen Combination Registered Cover - with a 2¢ Large Queen prepaying the registration fee and a 3¢ small queen (37b - Indian/Copper Red) prepaying the domestic postage fee. Split ring cancel sent from Little Glace Bay NS SP 20,1871 to Grand Narrows, C.B. The nice overall appearance makes it very easy to overlook the tone/age spots. Nice "REGISTERED LETTER No 315" marking at UL and a Sydney CB, Sp 20, 71 marking on the reverse. (Image1)
