6757 imageMALTA - 1953-2013 COLLECTION IN 4 KA-BE ALBUMS. A mint and used collection. The mint part of the collection appears to be complete with stamps sets, miniature sheets and sheetlets (including the 11 from 2012) for the period. Also includes a few booklets. The vast majority of these stamps are NHM. The used part of the collection ends in 1998. The used selection is incomplete and very sporadic in places but strong in the 70s and 80s. Despite any shortcomings there are many fine used sets to be found. The material is in hingeless mounts on KA-BE pages. Comes with empty 2002-2013 year packs. A very neat and attractive collection. The cat value of the mint stamps is around 2000 Euros (Michel 2019).

6775 imageMAURITIUS - 1863 - 1980s SUPERIOR POSTMARK COLLECTION. A life time's work of collecting and studying in a binder with approximately 1200 stamps. The collection is organised alphabetically in place order before culminating in those places where stamps were used abroad (Seychelles and Rodrigues). The places and groupings include: Bel Air, Camp de Masque, Flacq, Grand River S.E., Olivia, Port Louis (centre, pillar box, railway, and station), Riviere Seche, Union Vale, Verdun and some Maurritius B53 cancels. Although the collection filters into the 1980s the majority is QV to KGV. Includes QV values to 50c, KEVII values to 1r, KGV values to 2R50 with Coronation, Silver Jubilee and Silver Wedding stamps and a few revenues. A handful are on piece. There is potential to group the stamps into sets and/or part sets. Completely unchecked for wmks, errors or varieties. As usually with such collections some mixed condition but generally good to fine. A huge cat value. A unique collection and a worthy project to continue with.
