5546 imageCANADA - NEW BRUNSWICK - 1851 3d dull red on blue paper, SG 2, a superb very fine used example with four good to huge neat margins (with a part of the adjacent stamp to right showing) tied to an 1857 Entire by oval of bars cancellation, this sent from Chatham to Monctau, and on the reverse 'PETTICODIAC' cds of 27 June 1857, red 'W.O. DOUGLAS-TOWN' of 28 June, and 'CHATHAM' cds transits. A beautiful clean cover, the stamp with lovely original colour and a light cancellation. Signed by Peter Holcombe with a photo certificate, plus an additional photo certificate from Heinrich Saloman.
