7932 imageGB.ELIZABETH II - MACHIN DEFINITIVES - HIGHLY SPECIALISED COLLECTION 1967 - 2015. A very detailed advanced collector's stockbooks of never hinged mint Machin definitive stamps which has been assembled using the 'The Complete Deegam Machin Handbook' (3rd edition). The Deegam system uses up to 17 attributes for each identification. Very few collections we have seen have matched this degree of specialism. The collection begins with pre-decimal Machins and includes all values and a number of varieties as designated by the Deegam system. The decimal collection ranges from the 1971 ½p through to the 2015 £3.30. The values are from ½p - £5. The stamps mainly derive from sheets, booklets and prestige books including elliptical, non-elliptical and self adhesives. Some duplication, all expertly identified. Notable stamps include: 2 x  ½p Harrison, Photo, left band; 2 x 1p Enschede, Photo, 4mm RB varnish AY2 fluor (DG 10.20.2); 3p Harrison, Photo,  2B, BS 3 coil (DG 30.5.20); 6½p Harrison, Photo, missing phosphor (DG 65.2.2b): 7½p Harrison, Photo, missing phosphor (DG 75.1.1a); and £3 De La Rue, Gravure, 2B, HS2 (dull) paper (DG 3000.3.1)  Some duplication, all expertly identified. The splendid culmination of much time and study which would prove difficult to duplicate (2600+ stamps with over 1250 different identifications)
