GB.QUEEN VICTORIA - STAMPS WITH MANCHESTER CANCELLATIONS. A rather splendid little collection which includes a good number of choice quality stamps, in a small stock book. Begins with 4-margined 1841 1d reds (4) &
2d blues (3) with '498' numeral pmks, Surface Printed stamps with ranges of '498' numerals & pretty cds cancels incl highly catalogued stamps such as 1867 10d red-brown, 1867 5s rose, 1873-80 8d orange, 1883-84 5s roses (2), 10s ultramarines (2) etc,
also note the 1876 5s rose Telegraph stamp. Odd faults but generally a more attractive range than normal (88 stamps)(Image 1)

GB.GEORGE V - 1918-19 10s dull grey- blue Bradbury Seahorse (SG 417) USED BLOCK OF TWELVE, cancelled by light registered oval datestamps, one rounded corner and a couple of minor faults but in surprisingly
excellent condition for a block of this size. We can find no record of a similar used multiple amongst the 1913-19 10s Seahorses, the great auction of the 1993 "Shaida" collection included a block of ten. An outstanding multiple with Sismondo
