1317 imageGENERAL SECTION - SOUTH AFRICA AND SOUTH WEST AFRICA A mostly mint 1930's to 1970's accumulation in a folder, with a few earlier pre-Union including issues present e.g. O.F.S. 1899 Military Frank used (x2), Zululand mint group to 1s, a few Natal etc, as well as some used Union issues. The main bulk of the lot comprises (South Africa) a good range of 1930s to early 1950s definitives in pairs including various 1s (with some larger used blocks), 2s6d mint pairs plus 5s used blocks of four, many 1950s & 1960s definitive sets into RSA period, a lovely range of mint blocks of four on album pages including 1954 Animals defins to 1s, 1961 defins to 10c, 1961-63 (no wmk) defins to 10c, then (South West Africa) issues including 1931 definitive pairs to 5s NHM, 1938 Voortrekker Centenary set, 1954 definitive set, plus further ranges of mint or NHM issues, etc. The stamps are generally in good to fine condition and should prove to be a good sorter lot. (guess 1100 to 1200 stamps).

Fascinating insight to this trade, items clean & fine.
