2972 imageTURKEY - 1917 (Jun 1st.) Registered letter from Smyrne to Debrecen in Hungary franked with Turkish stamps (Mi 285 and 461) (cancelled by bilingual cancel) with four Turkish censorship marks (one on reverse) plus Hungarian censor. One stamp removed possibly by the censor checking for hidden messages behind the stamps. On reverse transit stamp by STAMBOUL DEPART and arrival mark at NAGY NYIRES. Interesting.
