1344 imageAUSTRALIAN STATES - QUEENSLAND 1895-1911 POSTMARK COLLECTION. An interesting range, mostly of 1895-6 (white background) issues as multiple frankings on small pieces, we see some numeral cancels between 27 & 580, couple of "T.P.O." cancels, "PARSON'S POINT" single line with date below, struck in violet, single stamp with clear "PORT SAID" (Egypt) c.d.s, presumably off a ship letter, plus a group of pieces with two line "REGISTERED..." marks, note Leyburn, Richmond, Southport, Toombul and more. Generally good to very fine strikes (approx 140 items).
