 NORTHERN RHODESIA - 1941 CENSOR COVER with original letter, from Sesheke to Switzerland (rough opened at right), franked 1½d carmine pair, "NORTHERN RHODESIA / Examined by Censor No.8" reseal label. Letter hopes
that the addressee will "...try to write to me via America..." as they "...think that is the only possible way the letters might pass." A sad reflection of reality during WWII.(Image 1)
