VERY FINE APPEARANCE. A RARE AND DESIRABLE ORIGINAL-GUM BLOCK OF FOUR OF THE IMPERFORATE 10-CENT 1895 WATERMARKED BUREAU SPECIAL DELIVERY ISSUE.

We have offered only four unduplicated pairs and a single since keeping computerized records. Another block was offered in the first Todd sale, where illustrated in color on the inside back cover. Although all examples of E4a do not have gum, all copies of E5a have original gum (see page XX for the background to the 1895 Imperforates).
