frameline at right and plate burr in left margin are clearly visible and precisely match the Type C double transfer (see lot 43)--other margins full to in at bottom right, but the bottom left is too large to be anything but a bottom sheet margin,
which proves the Type C double transfer is Position 84L, bright color and cleaned-plate impression, tied by four strikes of red "WAY 5" handstamp, on blue folded letter datelined "New York May 1st 1851" to Baltimore, stamp with pre-use
