1726 nh Germany Largely Mint Never-Hinged Collection. To 1990 in ten albums (nine Ka-Be and one Safe), plus two stockbooks for coil strips and other large items, one album has 19th Century, which is mostly used, and Colonies, which are a mixed of never-hinged, hinged and used, one other album has some stockpages of German States and other areas, but the vast majority of the value is in 20th Century, where the collector focused nearly exclusively on Mint Never-Hinged stamps (the tiny number of hinged stamps in this period are turned upside-down), with postage issues, Semi-Postals (including key items such as the Nothilfe souvenir sheet), Air Post, including Zeppelin sets, and more, also extensive booklet pane se-tenant pairs, strips and blocks (Zusammendrucke), the Post-War era is just about complete, including American, British and Russian Zones, Berlin, and DDR, the 19th Century is in slightly mixed condition, but the heart of the collection (20th Century) is overwhelmingly Fine-Very Fine, a previous owner catalogued the collection (by Michel) at well over €100,000

1727   Germany Mainly Mint Never-Hinged Accumulation. In eight stockbooks, mostly 1920s-1960s, but some earlier, much is lower and medium priced items, but some higher value also present, value in Third Reich and early Post-war, including Berlin and DDR, one stockbook is used post-war issue, includes Saar, Danzig, and other areas of the German Empire, some of the better items are mixed in with the more common, so careful examination is suggested (for instance the last few pages of the DDR stock contains plate flaws of earlier Germany), it appears the owner accumulated only Mint Never-Hinged examples, as our spot check shows every one to be never-hinged, Fine-Very Fine, a previous owner catalogued the lot (by Michel) at over €80,000
