2038   First Issue Handstamped Cancellation Collection. A visually attractive collection of 109 different First Issue revenues, each cancelled by a desirable handstamp rather than the typical manuscript cancellation, several with perfectly struck socked-on-the-nose markings, some colored handstamps such as blue and red, most are more modestly catalogued stamps in the $1.00 to $100.00 range, with a couple higher, but the catalogue values do not take into account the premiums associated with handstamp cancels, some faults (typically of a minor nature), overall Fine, the wonderful attributes of this lot can be seen on the PDF scan found on our website, Scott Catalogue value (as the typical manuscript cancel) is in excess of $3,500.00
