a. The only known Viet Cong courier delivery/receipt book -- from VC Postal Unit at Binh Duong, Tay Ninh Province and Doi Giao Lien liaison unit, each page of the booklet records the date, mail box code, and signature of the recipient or sender, 245 letters recorded in this book, dated June 1- September 15, 1966

k. Instructions on mail routes (only one known) dated April 4, 1975, specifying how mail couriers Giao Liens” should function and how letters were to be addressed, handled and sent

The exhibit has won six Gold Awards, one Grand Award (San Diego) and was in the 2018 APS Champion of Champions competition. The collection has been the basis for several articles published by Mr. Telep in The American Philatelist, The Collectors Club Philatelist and The Indo-China Philatelist.

This is an opportunity to acquire a major collection of postal history from one of the most significant military conflicts of the late 20th century. The most challenging aspect of the war’s postal operations, the Communist insurgent mail, is fully and deeply represented in the Telep collection. However, the collection could be expanded with the addition of earlier French colonial and military mail, as well as South Vietnam and U.S. forces mail (Image)
