VERY FINE. THE ONLY KNOWN EXAMPLE OF THE 47-CENT HOCKEY SE-TENANT SERIES WITH THE BLUE OMITTED.

1253 nh Extraordinary and Valuable Balance of the Modern Errors. Many dozens of items from the 1950s to 2008, starts off with a St. Lawrence Seaway with a weak "kiss print" (not counted in the catalogue value), contains a wide range of errors and varieties, such as imperforate and imperforate-between, color omitted, double impression, printed on gum side, die-cutting omitted and more, occasional duplicate, many with Unitrade values in the C$500.00-$1,500.00 range (and some even higher), the total Unitrade catalogue value is well in excess of C$100,000.00, however we catalogued it very conservatively, and did not count the following: anything only footnoted (even if it was priced), where Unitrade states a certificate is recommended and no certificate accompanies, and anything else that was questionable or not the true error (e.g. No. 935 with inscriptions "nearly" omitted and No. 2081b with black "almost" missing), plus there are some items Unitrade does not list (like double perfs), the overwhelming majority are Mint N.H. and in Very Fine or better condition

PROBABLY THE MOST COMPREHENSIVE AND VALUABLE SINGLE COLLECTION LOT OF CANADA MODERN ERRORS EVER OFFERED AT PUBLIC AUCTION.
