159 c Autograph Collection. Substantial collection in a single box, signatures are mostly on common first day covers from the 1930's-1960's, nearly all signed by a famous American, a detailed accounting accompanies listing more than 100 items including U.S. Presidents, First Ladies, Supreme Court Justices and cabinet members, we are not sure if every item on the list is present but we do note many of them and there are also a substantial number of people not on the list including generals, actors and actresses and other prominent people from the early to mid-20th Century, just a small sampling includes Woodrow Wilson, Eleanor Roosevelt, Harry Truman, Dwight Eisenhower, Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixon, George C. Marshall, Felix Frankfurter, Earl Warren, Hugo Black and many others, most have a portrait from a newspaper affixed to the cover and the old tape used has stained or toned many of them so condition is very mixed, still a fascinating group with good resale potential, also includes a second box with cheap U.N. first day covers and other inexpensive material
