4204 P Image[$4.00 Columbian], Queen Isabella of Castile, Large Die Proof on India (244-E). 115 x 147mm India mounted on 242 x 300mm thin card, with "Queen Isabella of Castile" imprint, minor toning at corners from mount, Very Fine and very unusual, the facial portrait was used for the design of the $4.00 Columbian, this shows considerably more of her, an excellent frontispiece for a Columbian collection (Image)

4205 P Image[$5.00 Columbian], Liberty Proof on India (245-E). 57 x 80mm with rounded corners, portrait is similar to that used for the portrait to the left of Columbus on the $5.00 Columbian except the shield has an eagle on the issued stamp and a staff is substituted for the fasces in her left hand, Very Fine, a fascinating portrait and interesting collateral item, apparently this design was also used for a piece of Hungarian paper money printed 50 years before the Columbian Issue (Image)
