EXTREMELY FINE. A SPECTACULAR NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE FALKLAND ISLANDS 1935 ONE-SHILLING JUBILEE WITH EXTRA FLAGSTAFF. ONE OF THE RAREST PLATE VARIETIES OF THE ENTIRE JUBILEE ISSUE.

The 1935 Silver Jubilee issue produced several interesting and highly collectable plate varieties that are listed in the Stanley Gibbons catalogue. The "Extra Flagstaff" variety on the Falkland Islands One-Shilling stamp is one of the rarest of these plate varieties. It came from the August 1935 Third Printing, so at most 94 could have been printed. Many of these were used. It is particularly desirable in this positional format.
