EXTREMELY FINE APPEARING EXAMPLE OF THE RARE 3-CENT POSTAGE DUE SPECIAL PRINTING. THIS IS THE RAREST POSTAGE DUE ISSUE.

777 nhbl Image1c Carmine Rose, Pair, One Without "1 Cent" (J89b). Mint N.H. pane of 100 containing 20 error pairs, rows 2/3 with ten pairs, the "normal" stamps showing only half the denomination, the other ten pairs in rows 4/5, slight overall toning

VERY FINE APPEARING AND RARE FULL PANE CONTAINING 20 PAIRS OF THIS DESIRABLE ERROR.

It is impossible to determine the Scott No. for 1959 Issue Postage Due singles or multiples without denomination unless they are in a pair with a normal stamp, as the same plates were used to print the various denominations. For this reason, Scott lists the "denomination omitted" error under the 1c (J89a), as it is the first value known with the error. The others are listed as part of a pair with a normal stamp.

Scott Retail as 20 pairs of J89b (Image)
