FINE APPEARANCE. A BEAUTIFUL AND COLORFUL FRANKING PAYING DOUBLE THE 9-PENCE RATE, AND CARRIED ON THE LAST VOYAGE OF THE EUROPEAN & AUSTRALIAN COMPANY.

This unusual franking pays double 9p rate (technically underpaid 3p) and was carried on the last voyage of the European & Australian Royal Mail Co.
