PERU, 1866-67, 5c-20c Llama (16, 17, two, 18). The complete set of Llama issues, each stamp tied by bold "Y. GUANAPE" oval on blue folded cover to Cochabamba, 5c creased before use, top 10c with tiny nick, slight splitting at bottom fold

VERY FINE APPEARANCE. A BEAUTIFUL AND RARE COVER BEARING THE COMPLETE SET OF THE LLAMA ISSUE. THIS COVER WAS DESCRIBED IN THE SALE OF THE RIDER COLLECTION AS "ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT PERUVIAN COVERS EXTANT."
