Harbour Grace June 24, 1931 CDS on cacheted TRANS-ATLANTIC FLIGHT COVER to Copenhagen Denmark (rec b/s July 3, 1931). The team of Otto Hillig & Holgar Hoiriis attempted an early Trans-Atlantic flight in their Bellanca plane 'LIBERTY'. Poor flying
weather forced them off course and they landed in Germany instead of Denmark. The cover is autographed by both Hoiriis and Hillig. VF (Image)
