Vance Auctions Ltd. Sale - 349

Worldwide Internet/Mail Sale - April 7, 2021

Welcome to our April 7, 2021 auction. This is our 349th Auction since we started running our sales back in 1972. We are continuing our tradition of offering our bidders a wide variety of worldwide material. Here are some of the highlights of Sale #349:
  • Strong sections of Germany from early to modern with better singles and sets, souvenir sheets, States, Zeppelin material (including metal pins from the Landing Crews), and Colonies.
  • Newfoundland with nice Pence issues including #7 mint with Certificate, imperforate pairs, airmails, and covers.
  • Nice group of Canadian Semi-Official Airmails both on and off cover. This section includes several scarce Patricia Airways proof sheets.
  • Extensive Canada from early to modern with better singles, blocks, multiples, lathework, postmarks, and errors.
  • An interesting group of old Japanese postcards in individual lots including patriotics, military, and royalty types.
  • A nice group of USA Confederate States selected singles, Postmaster Provisionals, and covers. Many of these have Certificates.
  • Some very good sections of European countries including Netherlands, Switzerland, France, Saar, and Austria.
  • Many hundreds of lots of quality covers, postal history, and postcards. There are some very nice early aviation items particularly in France, Germany and USA.
  • Over 1,700 larger lots including collections, accumulations, box lots, and stocks. Dealers and collectors will find many useful lots.
Don't forget that there is No Buyer's Fee at Vance Auctions and bidding is in inexpensive Canadian dollars. There is no extra charge for credit card use. Bidding information displayed at Stamp Auction Network for our auction lots is now being updated. Bidding on items in the sale will continue until Midnight EDT on Wednesday, April 7, 2021.

Please note that bids come in from many sources in addition to SAN (including e-mail, telephone, fax, mail, and our own web site). Even if your bid is 'green' at SAN when bidding ends, you could still be outbid. If your bid turns 'red' after Midnight on the last night of bidding, it means that a higher bid was received from another source before Midnight. Auction results for Sale #349 will be posted at www.vanceauctions.com on the evening of Saturday, April 10th.

Good luck with your bids!
