Vance Auctions Ltd. Sale - 341

Worldwide Auction - November 27, 2019

Welcome to our 341st Auction finishing on November 27, 2019. This is our 47th Anniversary auction since we started running our sales back in 1972. Material has come in from many sources for this sale including some old time estates. There are over 8,100 lots to choose from. Here are some of the highlights:
  • Exceptional section of Newfoundland including a used #C4 De Pinedo airmail with three Certificates and a mint #C5 Columbia airmail with Certificate.
  • Excellent Canada from Pence issues to modern errors including mint and used 5¢ Seaway Inverts both with Certificates.
  • Extensive sections of Germany, Offices, and Colonies with many elusive items.
  • United States with many key early items with Certificates plus Shanghai, Revenues, and Confederates.
  • Strong section of Italy with better singles, sets and varieties plus some covers dating from 1539-1639.
  • Interesting sections of philatelic literature, ephemera, coins (including many gold coins), and paper money.
  • Good Br. Commonwealth with many sets to £1 and individual high values.
  • Worldwide covers, postal history and postcards galore!
  • Hundreds of larger lots including collections, accumulations, and box lots. These will provide fun and profit for collectors and dealers alike.
Don't forget that there is no Buyer's Fee at Vance Auctions and bidding is in inexpensive Canadian dollars. There is no extra charge for credit card use. Bidding information displayed at Stamp Auction Network for our auction lots is now being updated. Bidding on items in the sale will continue until Midnight EST on Wednesday, November 27, 2019.

Please note that bids come in from many sources in addition to SAN (including e-mail, telephone, fax, mail, and our own web site). Even if your bid is 'green' at SAN when bidding ends, you could still be outbid. If your bid turns 'red' after Midnight on the last night of bidding, it means that a higher bid was received from another source before Midnight. Auction results for Sale #341 will be posted at www.vanceauctions.com on Tuesday, December 3rd.

Good luck with your bids!
