Fournier "Album de Fac-Similés" Forgery Collection, Published in 1928 by L'Union Philatélique de
Genève with foreword in French, Italian, German & English by renowned philatelists Fernand Serrane, Emilio Diena, Heinrich Köhler and Fred Melville, a complete collection from one of the masters of philatelic forgeries,
François Fournier. For those unfamiliar with this little piece of history, it was the Union Philatélique de Genève who purchased Fournier's stock after the death of Charles Hirschburger, an employee of Fournier who
unsuccessfully tried to further the business. Students from the Geneva School of Arts & Crafts were employed to create 480 albums to showcase Fournier's work, and it is now rare to find a complete collection intact, as more often than not, the pages
were eventually broken up and distributed by country. This is #471, and not only is it an indispensable reference work, but also an eye-popping collection to be savored in its own right, viewable in its entirety online. Shipping charges apply -
