Hungary, "Stamps for the Hungary Man" Virtually Complete Mostly Mint Collection, 1871-1991, Four Scott Specialty albums with a very special collection indeed; mostly used into the 1930s, but from then on entirely mint, this Hungarian collection looks complete for all standard numbers from #1-12 (both 3k appear uncancelled) to back-of-the book including the French, Romanian & Serbian occupation stamps, the vast majority of which look genuine and include a couple of certs. Many varieties abound, some not assigned catalogue numbers or simply footnoted in Scott, such as perf & imperf sheetlets of C81 or an imperf set of 925-28, some sets like C107-08 which Scott only mentions that imperfs exist, and other items, for example, pairs of 861-63 imperforate between which are not even alluded to. Judge for yourself as we are uploading scans of the entire occupied areas, as well as the short-lived state of Lajtabánság in Western Hungary including varieties referencing the Brainard Catalog of Hungarian Occupation Issues, the book of which is also included in this lot, as well as another indispensable reference on the overprinted stamps of Hungary compiled by David Miles, generally Fine to Very Fine.
